Shakespeare was born in 1564 at a town in England.He had seven brothers and sisters.When he was 4 year old,his father sent him to school.He had lessons in Latin,Greek and History.

Shakespeare left school when he was 16.No one knew what job he did.Perhaps he worked as a teacher.Perhaps he helped his father.Two years later he got married.Then he and his wife had three children.

Some time before 1598,he left his hometown and went to London.Soon he began writing plays.

Shakespeare wrote comedies with happy ending,like A Midsummer Night’s Dream.He wrote tragedies with sad endings,like Romeo and Juliet.He wrote about 38 plays,maybe more.

Australia is famous for koalas.They are lovely and interesting.Almost all the guese will see them when they visit Australia.

The koala looks like a teddy bear.The newborn koala is very small.It is as big at a peanut.It will hide in the mother koala’s pouch.When it grows up,it’s seventy to eighty centimeters tall and weighs about thirteen kilograms.Have you heard the koala cry?That’s strange.When it cries,it sounds like a baby.The name“koala”means“No drink.”Does it really not drink water?No.It gets water from leaves.It always lives in the trees.It’s a good climber.It has two big ears and four lege.Its legs are strong.They help it climb the tree well.It often sleeps for a whole day in the tree.At night it will wake up and look for food everywhere.

There is a place where there are no seasons at all.It is the Antarctic.It is very cold all the year round.There are no countries and no cities there.There are some villages in the Antarctic.Who lives there?People from some countries go there to learn about the coldest place, its animals and birds.But there are no trees,no flowers,and no fruit there.So people can’t live there long.
