B. Force from bulk (open) position to self-locking position

 

1. Use the connector without control lever to put the control rod or sliding vane in bulk position.

 

2. Force tester, gradually apply a force of 30n in one direction to assemble the control rod or sliding vane to the self-locking position

 

3. Verify whether the acceptance criteria of 5.4.3.4-3 are met.

 

C. Lever impulse / removal force

 

1. Test the force required to move the connector from the pre activated state to the fully used state and close the lever. It should be as much as possible

 

The orthogonal force can be applied close to the contact surface of the control rod or sliding plate.

 

2. For the connector with secondary self-locking structure, maintain this feature and gradually apply a 60N force at its release position.

 

3. If applicable, release all existing release mechanisms and record the amount required to move the lever from the locked position to the free position Force.
