5.4.3.1 purpose

Sufficient plug ends shall be prepared in accordance with section 5.1.6 (preparation of terminal samples) using suitable conductor size and insulation type

And so on. In each section below, prepare at least 10 sets of samples. Samples may be reused.

1. Force tester to engage each connector to the preassembled position.

 

2. Reverse the direction and record the force required to move the connector from the pre installed position to the UN seat position.

 

3. Verify whether the acceptance criteria of 5.4.3.4-1 and 5.4.3.4-2 are met.
